Special Olympics Mission Statement

The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children (at least 8 years old) and adults with cognitive disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendships with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.

Northern Access is a local agency of Special Olympics Wisconsin serving athletes with cognitive disabilities in the Great Lakes area of  northern Wisconsin , including, but not limited to, Crandon, Eagle River, Land O’ Lakes, Phelps, St. Germain, Sugar Camp, and Three Lakes, Wisconsin.
